Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Nothing in this policy removes rights you may have under your local consumer protection laws.
Subscription fees paid to EmoraPath are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree that fees for the current billing period will not be refunded upon cancellation. This applies to both monthly and annual billing cycles.
All paid plans (Plus and Pro) include a 7-day free trial. During the trial, your card is on file but will not be charged. If you cancel before 11:59 PM on day 7, you are never billed — not even once. Your card is only charged when the trial period ends without cancellation.
Once a billing cycle has been charged, that payment is non-refundable. When you cancel an active subscription, your premium access continues through the end of the already-paid period. After that period ends, your account automatically moves to the Free plan. You will not be charged again after cancellation.
If you believe you were charged incorrectly due to a technical error — such as being charged twice, charged after cancelling during the trial, or charged an incorrect amount — please contact us immediately at billing@emorapath.com. We will investigate promptly and issue a correction for confirmed billing errors.
Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. Residents of certain regions (including the EU, UK, Australia, and some US states) may have additional statutory rights regarding refunds or cooling-off periods. If applicable law in your jurisdiction requires a refund, EmoraPath will comply.
While we cannot guarantee refunds outside of the scenarios described above, we understand that exceptional circumstances arise. If you have a compelling reason — such as an unexpected serious illness, a documented technical failure on our end, or another extraordinary situation — email billing@emorapath.com with your account email and a brief explanation. We review each request individually and aim to respond within 2 business days.
Can I get a refund if I forgot to cancel before the renewal?
Unfortunately, forgetting to cancel before a renewal date is not a qualifying reason for a refund under our policy. We send a reminder email on day 5 of the trial and again before each renewal. If you believe there were extenuating circumstances, you can email billing@emorapath.com and we will review your case.
I subscribed by accident — can I get a refund?
If you accidentally subscribed and contact us within 24 hours of the charge without having used any premium features, we will consider a refund on a case-by-case basis. Email billing@emorapath.com as soon as possible.
What if EmoraPath was unavailable or broken during my paid period?
If EmoraPath experienced a significant verified outage during your paid billing period, you may be eligible for a partial credit. Contact billing@emorapath.com with dates and details.
I live in the EU — do I have a 14-day cooling-off right?
EU consumers may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services under EU Directive 2011/83/EU. However, by starting to use EmoraPath during the trial, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal may be waived. If you believe you have statutory rights, email billing@emorapath.com and we will assess your situation under applicable law.
How do I cancel so I am not charged next month?
Go to Profile → Settings → Subscription → Cancel Plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You can also cancel via the Stripe Customer Portal from the same page. Cancellation is instant, free, and reversible.
We review every request individually. Include your account email, the charge date, and a brief description of the issue.
